This Week In The Charts - 25th August 2025

This week in the charts we have debuts from Mama Kin Spender, Justice For The Damned, R.M.F.C. , The Temper Trap, Simon Astley, 3%, The 046, Alex Lloyd, Sandee Facy, Davey Lane, The Pleasures & Dragnet. 

Mama Kin Spender secured #1 on the 100% Independent Albums Chart & #2 on the Indpendent Label Albums Chart with 'Promises'; Justice For The Damned took out #1 on the Independent Label Albums Chart with their latest release 'Stay Restless'. 

Davey Lane took out #4 on the 100% Independent Albums Chart and #5 on the Independent Label Albums Chart with 'Finally, A Party Record.'

The Pleasures took out #6 on the 100% Independent Albums Chart & #7 on the Independent Label Albums Chart with 'Enemy Of My Enemy' and Dragnet debuted at #12 on the 100% Independent Albums Chart with 'Dragnet Reigns!'.

R.M.F.C. took out #2 across both the 100% Independent Singles Chart & the Independent Label Singles Chart with 'Ecstatic Strife' ;  Alex Lloyd secured #10 on the Independent Label Singles Chart with 'Echoes of Home', The Temper Trap secured #5 on the 100% Independent Singles Chart and #12 on the Independent Label Singles Chart with 'Lucky Dimes'; 'Unreal' from Simon Astley came in at #14 on the 100% Independent Singles Chart, 'Running Through My Head'  from 3% took out #15, and The 046 took out #20 with 'Flawless'.
